CBT ( compulsory Basic Training ) must be undertaken by all learner moped & Motorcyclists before they ride on the road. Once a person has completed CBT they will be given a certificate ((DL196) which is valid for 2 years. Once this expires, they must renew it before riding on the road, unless they take a full motorcycle or moped test within the two years in which the case the CBT become obsolete. Some CBT certificates issued before 1st Feb 2001 have a three year life. |
